Back to regular viewing blog follower. Ive been super busy living life in the real world that I haven’t updated much here but as I approach 100,000 views I am going to step it up. Im sitting on some exciting news for me for 2013 racing and a few other adventures.
Anyway last week I headed down to California to hang out with my buddy Dave and hit Anaheim for the Supercross. As I mentioned in a previous post, we got the hook up from Troy Lee Designs on Pit Passes and hospitality. Thanks Guys.
We headed off to Angel Stadium early to take in the atmosphere and hang out in the Pits. If you haven’t been to a Motorsport event before I urge you to attend a Supercross event. Having been involved in organising Motorsport Events for year all over the World I have to say that Feld Motorsport have it exactly right. It has the right amount of branding, consumer interaction and live action. Plus the best Opening Ceremony in the business.
Carey Hart signing autographs with his new RCH Team.
TLD/Lucas Oil/Honda rocking the Pink for Breast Cancer. Well Done Guys.
The Troy Lee Team put on a great show in the pits and we got to hang with Troy during the break between qualifying sessions. He had plenty of time for us and we questioned him on the latest signing of Aaron Gwin and the new A1 helemt. He’s also coming to Vancouver soon and we plan to show him the shop and maybe get him out for a ride on the North Shore.
We got down to trackside for the last qualifying session to get the feel for the speed and height that the riders travel.
But when it came to the main event we hit our seats ready to go Live on Speed Channel and let the gates drop.
A packed house at Angel Stadium before the lights go down.
This was my second time to attend a Supercross event. Now I cant wait for April 20th to hit Seattle for one of the final rounds before the finale in Las Vegas.
